Most Bexar County court business happens along one street. Civil and family district courts sit in the Bexar County Courthouse at 100 Dolorosa and run on a presiding system, with pre-trial hearings set centrally through the presiding civil district court. Criminal district courts such as the 175th, and county courts at law such as County Court 15, are in the Cadena-Reeves Justice Center at 300 Dolorosa. The county’s Criminal District Court Administration schedules Spanish interpreters and interpreters for other languages for the district, county and probate courts from the Paul Elizondo Tower at 101 West Nueva.

Immigration Court Interpreters at 800 Dolorosa

The San Antonio Immigration Court is at 800 Dolorosa Street, Suite 300, a few blocks from the county courts. EOIR provides an interpreter for the hearing. Certified Translation for the USCIS San Antonio Field Office

The USCIS San Antonio Field Office, a district office, is at 20760 North US Highway 281 on the city’s far north side, and the ZIP code table assigns Bexar County to it along with Austin and much of Central and South Texas. Texas asylum applicants are interviewed separately, by the Houston Asylum Office.

The translation requirement is 8 CFR 103.2(b)(3): an English translation of every foreign-language document, complete, with the translator’s signed certification.
