Hialeah residents can order certified translation from Prism Language Solutions online, with the finished file sent by email, and book interpreters for court, medical and USCIS appointments from our nationwide network, with a Miami-Dade linguist for anything in person. Everything is handled from our New York office. Nine in ten Hialeah residents speak Spanish at home, so orders here run in both directions: Cuban and Latin American records into English, and English legal and medical paperwork into Spanish.
Spanish is the majority language at home in Hialeah by a wide margin. About 198,000 residents aged five and over speak Spanish at home, according to the 2020-2024 American Community Survey, 92 percent of the city, and about 128,000 of them report speaking English less than very well. Roughly 171,000 residents are of Cuban origin in the 2024 one-year estimate, followed by Venezuelan, Colombian and Nicaraguan communities of 7,000 to 11,500 each. That profile changes what a translation order looks like. The Cuban birth certificate for an adjustment case is still the classic job, but so is the English lease, insurance denial or court summons that a resident needs in Spanish to understand what they are signing. Upload either kind at the quote page or call +1 (833) 282 8883, and a fixed written price comes back within the hour on business days.

Certified Translation for the USCIS Hialeah Field Office
Hialeah has its own USCIS field office, at 5880 NW 183rd Street, and every Hialeah ZIP code is assigned to it. It holds green card and naturalization interviews and oath ceremonies, and its jurisdiction reaches beyond the city into parts of Miami, Miami Gardens and Opa-locka and into Hollywood and Pembroke Pines in Broward. Asylum interviews are separate, at the Miami Asylum Office on Biscayne Boulevard.
For a Cuban Adjustment Act case, the translation is usually the easy part to get wrong. USCIS requires a full English version of each foreign-language document under 8 CFR 103.2(b)(3), with the translator’s signed certification, and an applicant often supplies a summary or a translation of only the front. We translate every seal, registry entry and marginal note. See USCIS translation; the officer, not the translator, decides whether the evidence is sufficient.Cuban Birth Certificate Translation in Hialeah
A Cuban certificación de nacimiento is issued by the Registro del Estado Civil of the municipality where the birth was recorded, and it reproduces the original entry: tomo and folio numbers, both parents’ names, the grandparents, and any later annotations for legitimation or a name change. Older certificates are often typed or handwritten. Every field and stamp goes into the English version, and the double surname stays in the order printed, even when the applicant has used one surname in the United States.
Marriage and divorce records from the same registries follow the same pattern, and a divorce granted in Cuba often has to be proved before a Florida remarriage or a spousal petition. See birth certificate translation, marriage certificate translation and divorce decree translation. Venezuelan actas, Nicaraguan partidas and Colombian registros are handled the same way through Spanish translation.
Court Interpreters at the Hialeah Courthouse
The Hialeah District Court at 11 East 6th Street is a branch of the Miami-Dade County Court within the Eleventh Judicial Circuit. It hears small claims, landlord-tenant cases and traffic matters, takes domestic violence petitions and issues marriage licenses. Felony and larger civil cases go to the circuit’s downtown courthouses.
For proceedings where a fundamental interest is at stake, interpreters come from the Eleventh Circuit’s own Department of Translation and Interpretation, which supplies them in person or books remote Spanish and Creole interpreters on three business days’ notice, other languages on five. Its role is spoken interpretation for the hearing. Written evidence is the party’s job: a Spanish-language lease, text messages or a receipt in an eviction or small claims case has to reach the judge in English. We translate those exhibits, and supply a Spanish interpreter for a deposition, mediation or meeting with counsel. See legal translation and court interpreting.
English to Spanish Legal Translation for Hialeah Residents
With about 128,000 residents who speak English less than very well, a large share of Hialeah’s paperwork problems start with a document in English. A foreclosure notice, a workers’ compensation letter, a school evaluation or an insurer’s coverage decision is exactly where a deadline or a waiver sits in the small print, and where an informal reading is least reliable.
Law firms, clinics, landlords and employers that serve the city order Spanish versions of their own documents from us: retainer agreements, consent forms, notices and employee handbooks, with legal terms rendered the way they are understood in Cuban and Latin American Spanish rather than word for word. See translation for law firms and document translation.
Medical Interpreters for Hialeah Hospital and Palmetto General
Hialeah Hospital, 378 beds on East 25th Street and open since 1951, and Palmetto General Hospital were both Steward Health Care hospitals when Steward filed for bankruptcy in May 2024; Hialeah Hospital has since been run on an interim basis by Healthcare Systems of America. In a city this Spanish-speaking, the harder hospital bookings tend to involve other languages or the written record: a Portuguese or Haitian Creole speaking patient, a sign language user, or English-speaking specialists reviewing records written in Spanish.
We send medical interpreters for the first, and translate clinic notes, discharge summaries and prescriptions from Cuba or Venezuela into English through medical records translation for the second.
Diploma Translation for Miami Dade College Hialeah Campus
Miami Dade College’s Hialeah Campus at 1780 West 49th Street enrolls students educated abroad, and a Cuban or Venezuelan título usually comes with a certificación de notas listing every course. Admissions and credential evaluators need those in English, course by course and grade by grade, and Florida licensing boards ask for the same. Order diploma translation with academic transcript translation as one job; guide prices start around $24.95 per page for short certificates, and the written quote is the price (pricing).
